Please be aware that we are doing everything we can to help keep you healthy and safe. We are closely monitoring updates from the World Health Organization, the Center for Disease Control, and the Oregon Health Authority for the most recent and reputable information regarding the COVID-19 Coronavirus epidemic.
When you visit our office, you will notice some significant changes to our normal procedures. We are meticulously following the updated guidelines from the Oregon Governor’s Office for Clinical Care, and Healthcare Infection Prevention and Control Guidance for COVID-19 as well as for Personal Service Providers.
The first thing you will notice is that the building doors are locked. Entrance to the building is tightly controlled by the LifeQual staff and providers. When you arrive, simply ring the doorbell to the right of the entry doors and I will come to let you in.
Face coverings, or masks are required by everyone in the common spaces of the building at all times. Exceptions to this are children under the age of 2 and individuals with medical conditions that prevent them from safely wearing a mask. In these cases, a face shield can be used as an alternative. I will wear a medical face mask at all times during your visit.
All frequently touched surfaces such as door handles, chairs and stools, treatment tables and equipment, countertops, cupboard and faucet handles, computer keyboards, and mobile phones are meticulously wiped down between patient visits with a sanitizer/disinfectant that meets the EPA’s criteria for use against SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19).
Barring any foreseen circumstances, I will continue to treat patients as scheduled. Please pay close attention to your own state of health. If you develop a cough, fever, or shortness of breath, please stay home and notify me. If you decide to reschedule your appointment out of caution, please give me 24-hours notice. Thank you. Stay safe and be well!
